Isn't $DISH very oversold since the company a must to watch TV on the country which made $1.47 which was a $1.00 beat on earnings.

Our algo is programed to predict probabilities of trend reversals so a lot of times things are oversold when we trigger a buy or a strong buy because we are interested in predicting what is going to move up not what has already moved up. We have extensive proof that shows that when you buy when things have already moved up (overbought levels), the chance of that stock moving up or down is neutral so not ideal to get in at that time. A lot of those kinds of stocks are perfect candidate for shorting since even if the market moves up, those stocks wont move up and if the market falls, those will trickle down.

Yes, no leveraged ETFs are covered part of our analysis as it almost becomes redundant data as they move same as their underlying asset so it would add a level of bias to our analysis so we remove those

is there a graph / info somewhere of when the past market phase changes were?

i'm just wondering how long this hold phase is gonna last

It was a while ago but I probably will get rid of that since it looks for very specific scenarios in the market where you are guaranteed to get a great deal but those opportunities comes a few times a year so most people won’t wait that long so might have to figure out a different approach

This is really cool. Is there a way I can look for similar stocks of other global exchanges?

Expand full comment

But could you insert in your google sheets the ISIN, WKN or Ticker for the ETFs?

For me it is impossible to find the right ETFs in my broker.

Best wishes!

The ticker symbols are the ETFs under symbol… can you share an exact example and I can look it up or if you can send me a pic or something it can help. Thanks
